
If more than one monitor is used and the video signal
of a video source has to be splitted, it is possible that a deterioration
of the picture quality will occur (low brightness and contrast,
black & white only, no synchronization). If the video output
is powerful enough and has a matching impedance, splitting a video
signal with just a Y-RCA Splitter works fine. However, if not,
you have to use a video splitter with a built in buffer amplifier
for the video signal - such as in the KCE-200V. Above, you can
see the connection diagram of the KCE-200V which shows how to
connect the video signal cables while the audio signal is splitted
with conventional Y-Connectors. In case more than two monitors
are used, you need to insert additional KCE-200V´s adequately.
